An intermediate and fun classic skin ski. The skin refers to the grip technology that uses synthetic, or mohair skins attached to the base of the skis, replacing traditional fish scales or kick wax. The glide zones, front and back of the skis, can be waxed and in doing so provides a greater glide than a full no-wax set up. This ski is stable yet offers great kick and glide. It is for the skier who knows a little about classic ski technique, does not need a race ski, yet enjoys the performance of a well-engineered classic ski. The boot is comfortable, with a low cut to offer ankle flexibility for the kick motion, yet the top half of the boot is made from an Aero Membrane that is breathable and water-repellent. The Q5 pole offers the performance strap to encourage full arm swing.
